OSS Maritime designs and manufactures its pilot and embarkation ladders in-house and, since achieving ABS Type Approved Manufacturer status in 2023, is Australia's only Type Approved manufacturer of this equipment.

Beyond new supply, OSS Maritime's own certified inspectors carry out on-board load testing, SOLAS audits and Port State Control pre-inspections, and can replace a damaged ladder at short notice at any major Australian port.
